This morning, I went foraging some chanterelles in the woods. My guide came with a cute little pic nic with chocolate, cheese and warm coffee. Outside it was hot and sunny, and all the trees smelt like spring. It felt like paradise, looking for mushrooms and getting all muddy in this beautiful weather.
I decided to cook for friends every Sunday night. And this Saturday I found great medjool dates at Berkeley's farmers market. The next day they found themselves cooking with chicken, olives, vegetables, lots of spices and love.
